چکیده
Abstract The fungal genus Alternaria is a relevant pathogen for several commodities including citrus and pomegranate fruits. On citrus, it mainly causes brown spots on fruits leaves, whereas pomegranate, mostly fruit heart rot. In the present study presence of rots cultivated in Albania was assessed. Representative were collected from different regions. Nineteen thirteen spp. isolates obtained samples, respectively. identified at species morphotype level. Micro macroscopic features separated into four morphotypes. BLAST phylogenetic analysis using SCAR Marker OPA1-3 confirmed isolate identity. All 32 proved to be alternata belonged , followed by limoniasperae tenuissima . strains possess pksI gene alternariol biosynthesis. Citrus tested genes biosynthesis phytotoxins ACT ACR, but none them them. Concluding, might represent treat production Albania, thus effective control means are needed.

Alternaria brown spot is one of the most important diseases of tangerines and their hybrids worldwide. Recently, outbreaks in Mediterranean areas related to susceptible cultivars, refocused attention on the disease. Twenty representatives were selected from a collection of 180 isolates of Alternaria spp. from citrus leaves and fruit. They were characterized along with reference strains of Alter...

متن کاملAlternaria Pathosystems for Study of Citrus Diseases
Leaf spot disease of rough lemon and brown spot disease of tangerines caused by distinct pathotypes of Alternaria alternata, and postharvest fruit black rot disease caused by A. citri, are the three major fungal diseases of citrus. The pathogenicity and specificity for the pathogens of Alternaria leaf spot and brown spot diseases are associated with the production of different host-specific tox...
